I've chosen to create this topic for a start with my questions as they and your answers here might be of interest of others too.
1) How do I know who are the forum members: their profile, interests, possibly location? I have initially written mine and don't know whether you see them or not.
2) How would our posts and replies here be announced to members (all, selected ones?) of the Subud Forums
3) Is there a possibility of having a live chat here with selected members?
4) How do I create a new "Forum"? This topic I've created under the "Instructions" Forum.

Here are the answers to your questions:
1) I have not enabled the permission for users to see each others details, but I think this would be a good thing so I will do this.
2) You can select to be notified by email if a topic you are interested in has been modified. I will put some documentation together for this as it is not as obvious how to do this as I had hoped.
3) At this time I feel that Live Chat is beyond the original scope of this project. There are many other ways people can do this. However, if this becomes something users are clamoring for I am willing to change my mind on this.
4) To create a forum you need to be given the Forum Moderator role which I am reserving for individuals who request a forum for a particular purpose. However, if there is a forum you would like to see here let me know and I will create it for you.
